#FallingInLove with Debate. Again.

I’ve said before that while debate will always be one of my heart’s greatest joys, I don’t (won’t, can’t) actually show my love consistently. The past three weeks saw me being conspicuously and unashamedly missing from trainings. Sometimes it’s because I study, or go to class, or have a meeting. Most of the time it’s because I was asleep.

But I hope that’ll change this week! The added pressure in saying “Yay” or “Nay” to different upcoming competitions has me stoked! To be completely honest, it’s UADC 2014 I’m (hoping for) looking forward to –one-week debate, cheap tournament fee (inclusive of accommodations, kit and everything) and in one of the safest countries in the world, Singapore –but to get there, I need to be a better debater and a worthy person over-all. I need to love debate if I want it to love me back. Properly.

So. Stoked. Mother, if you’re reading this (and I wish you are ahihi), I hope you can read my passion. And so we can pray for an influx of Jari-Org-Funds together. <3

RESOLUTIONS will come to pass. PLEASE AND THANKS. :)

Life UpdateΒ I’ve been eating and sleeping so much recently, which wouldn’t be a bad thing if it wasn’t hampering my productivity. I also studied for Bio 116 Lab earlier, but the fact that I’ve been studying it for close to two weeks makes it very difficult to take reviewing seriously. Sigh. Back to studying in awhile!

EDIT:

6th MINT Top 10 Best Novice Speaker! Unfortunately our team didn't make it to quarterfinals, but we did learn stuff! HAHA. We'll do better in PIDC.
